Compassionate Counseling
I aim to emotionally hold my clients’ stories and help them gain awareness of their life, by reflecting on what experiences have shaped them into who they currently are, in order for them to reach their future goals. Truly, I believe that counseling is a space filled with the promise of healing; however, I understand the first step in the process of sharing takes untold bravery and I aim to create a safe and trusting environment where clients feel comfortable to disclose issues related to relationships, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, and trauma in a supportive space where we will work collaboratively towards healing.
I have experience helping people with a wide variety of issues and enjoy collaboratively working with clients. I utilize a variety of theories to meet client needs; however, I primarily utilize a humanistic lens with EFT, Existentialism & Mindfulness while encouraging self-compassion, acceptance and positive self-talk.
The journey of life can be filled with beauty and pain. Truly, I believe that having a non-judgmental and compassionate person actively listen to your story can be healing. Whether we’re exploring an internal conflict that’s existed from childhood or a recent experience, I will actively listen, empower, and individualize treatment based on your needs.
